Intuitive, by hand, step by step

Inner Images

Before modelling I have a vision — an inner image formed from my subconscious, cultural influences and personal experiences.

Intuition over Plan

I follow my intuition rather than a fixed outcome. During the process the vision often changes — and every figure develops its own character.

Face and Expression

I consciously devote a lot of time to the facial expression. Facial features and expression carry the expressive power: gaze, personality, emotions.

Material and Form

I work with special oil-based modelling clay, including Monster Clay. It allows extended working time, reshaping and highly detailed facial features — by hand, step by step.
